Health & Safety

For more than a century, the American Red Cross has been saving lives with health and safety education programs. Training at the Red Cross ranges from classes on first aid, CPR and use of AED's (Automated External Defibrillators) to classes on swimming and lifeguarding; from HIV/AIDS education to care-giving programs such as Babysitter’s Training.

*As part of the Red Cross commitment to service, a portion of your class fee goes toward local Red Cross Disaster Relief.

Community CPR/First Aid Class Registration

To register for one of our Community Classes;
STEP 1. go to our Calendar and find the class you are interested in taking,
STEP 2. Click on the Class Registration button below, fill out the form and submit it,
STEP 3. Pay for the class using PayPal,
or call 509.525.7380 for more information and to make arrangements for the class.

Full Service Classes

Does your business or community organization need training? We can come to your location or you can bring your employees or members to the chapter house classroom at 175 S. Park Street to learn life-saving skills that they can apply on the job and at home with their families. Please call (509) 525-7380 for more information.

Aquatics Classes

The Walla Walla YMCA is the local provider of Red Cross aquatic training and classes. Class schedules are available here. For more information on the following classes: Lifeguard Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and Water Safety Instructor Training you may contact J. R. Authorized Providers

Authorized providers are collaborators with the Red Cross in providing quality Health and Safety Services training in local communities. Whether providing training for their own employees, volunteers, clients or members of the community, authorized providers utilize their own paid/volunteer staff members as instructors to conduct Red Cross training courses.
